Siyu received his Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University in 2022. He stayed at GSAPP as a Studio mentor after graduation, on account of recognized excellence in design studios. Siyu had his Bachelor of Architecture degrees both in HIT, China and Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He had internships in Group of Architecture in Hangzhou, China and Future Urban Legacy Lab in Turin, Italy. Prior to joining OPerA Studio in later 2022, he also worked as an architecture designer in Workac. He is interested in exploring the harmonious integration of pure and elegant architectural design with the complexities of everyday life, and values projects where people can really inhabit in.
